The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on November 17, 2025, issued a corrigendum to an amendment of the BIS Gazette Notification related to the extension of the date.
The following has been stated: -
•Bureau of Indian Standards issued an amendment to earlier Gazette notifications dated October 2024 and April 2025.
•The amendment substitutes the existing date, October 08, 2025, with April 08, 2026 for Sl. No. 02, 04, and 05 in column (5) of the schedule.
•This change is made under Rule 15(1) of the BIS Rules, 2018.
•The amendment effectively extends the compliance/validity timeline by six months.
