The Government of Mizoram, on November 07, 2025, issued a notification regarding the revised classification of Liquor Quantities.
The following has been stated: -
•The Mizoram Government has redefined liquor quantities under the Mizoram Liquor (Prohibition) Act, 2019, small quantity up to the newly specified limit, commercial quantity from the higher threshold onward, and anything in between as intermediate.
•These revised classifications take effect immediately, superseding the earlier June 23, 2025, notification.
