The Government of Andhra Pradesh, on September 26, 2025, issued the Andhra Pradesh Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) (Third Amendment) Bill, 2025, further to amend the Andhra Pradesh Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2016.
The following has been stated: -
•In section 2, the following shall be omitted, namely,- (i) “clause (v) of sub-section (3-A)”. (ii) “clause (iv) of sub-section (13)”.
•Section 5 shall be substituted, namely,- 5. Powers and functions of the University.
•Section 11-A shall be omitted.
