Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Andhra Pradesh, on September 22, 2025, issued the Andhra Pradesh Excise (Amendment) Bill, 2025, further to amend the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968.

The following has been stated: -

•In section 19, in sub-section (2), after the words “suffering from”, the words “leprosy or any other” shall be omitted.

•In Section 36 in sub-section (1) in clause(h), after the words “suffering from”, the words “leprosy or other” shall be omitted.
