The West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency (WBREDA), on November 17, 2025, revising service charges associated with vetting, preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR) with vetted estimates, and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for Solar PV Power Plant installations.
Under the revised structure, projects up to 500 kWp will be charged ₹5,000 for vetting, 0.2% of project cost (minimum ₹15,000) for DPR preparation, and 0.75% (minimum ₹30,000) for PMC. For projects exceeding 500 kWp, the charges are ₹10,000 for vetting, 0.1% of project cost (minimum ₹20,000) for DPR preparation, and 0.5% (minimum ₹50,000) for PMC. WBREDA also reserves the right to waive or reduce these charges depending on the nature of the project.
This order takes immediate effect and will remain so until further modification or revision.
