The Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (HPERC) on November 13, 2025, issued the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum and Ombudsman) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• These Regulations shall come into force from November 13, 2025.
• In Regulation 7, in sub-regulation (1), in clause (ii), sub-clause (a) shall be substituted - “(a) who are retired officers of the State Government or its undertakings with a minimum service experience of twenty years as such and are familiar with the consumer affairs, power sector or regulatory affairs; or”.
