The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) on November 13, 2025, issued a circular regarding the Declaration of multiplying factor for DTR & value of scrap materials for the month of November 2025.
The multiplying factor on total gross involvement as a whole for a complete repaired Transformer as per derived PV formula in the light of IEEMA for the months is noted below:
• Multiplying factor for Aluminium wound Transformers - 1.175365
• Multiplying factor for Copper wound Transformers - 1.245078
The following scrap rate is applicable as per value of scrap as published in the MSTC Bulletin September'2025.
• Aluminium Scrap - 192.50 Rs/Kg
• Copper Scrap - 817.75 Rs/Kg
• Brass Scrap - 765.50 Rs/Kg
