The Excise Department of Jammu and Kashmir on August 01, 2025, notified regarding Fixation of Maximum Retail Price of Imported RTD (Ready to Drink), Premium & Deluxe/Super Deluxe IMFL and Locally manufactured IMFL brands for sale in the civil market for the year 2025-26.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Government approves the Ex-Manufacturer Price, Ex-Wholesale Price, and MRP for Imported RTD, Imported Premium/Deluxe IMFL, and Locally Manufactured Premium IMFL for sale in the Civil Market for 2025–26.
• The approved prices are listed in Annexures A-15, A-16, and A-17, covering brands such as INACAN RTD variants, Rampur Double Cask Single Malt, Mountain Oak Whisky, and multiple locally manufactured Premium IMFL brands.
• The notified MRPs are inclusive of all taxes, and brands cannot be sold above the fixed rate, with any rounding difference recoverable as a “rounding fee.”
• The order ensures uniform pricing and regulatory control over the sale of IMFL and RTD brands across the Union Territory for the financial year 2025–26.
