The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on April 17, 2025, notified regarding the Fixation of Maximum Retail Price of Imported BIO, Locally manufactured IMFL and Imported Indian wine brands for sale in civil market for the year 2025-26.
The government, exercising powers under Rule 38(31)(b)(iv) of the J&K Liquor License and Sale Rules, 1984, read with S.O. 38 dated February 15, 2025 and based on the recommendations of the Committee constituted under Order No. 50-EC of 2022 dated May 30, 2022, has approved the Ex-Manufacturer Price, Ex-Wholesale Price, and Maximum Retail Price for Imported BIO brands, locally manufactured IMFL, and imported Indian wine brands for sale in the civil market for the year 2025–26, as specified in Annexures A-4, A-5, and A-6. These brands shall not be sold above the fixed rates.
