class="MsoNormal">The Government of Assam, on October 17, 2025, notified regarding Commencement of Certain Provisions of the Assam GST (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2025.
It states that the proviso to sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as "said Ordinance"), the State Government hereby appoints October 01, 2025, as the date on which the provisions of the amended clauses (ii) and (iii) of section 2, sections 12, 13,17,34,38,39,107,112,122B,148A and Schedule III of the said Ordinance shall come into force.
