The Government of Karnataka on November 19, 2025, issued the Karnataka Compulsory Service Training by candidates completed Medical Courses (Counselling, Allotment and Certification) (Amendment) Rules, 2025 to further amend the Karnataka Compulsory Service Training by candidates completed Medical Courses (Counselling, Allotment and Certification) Rules, 2015.
The following amendments have been stated:
In rule 5, in sub-rule (3-A), in clause (iv), after the words “compulsory service”, the words “or not selected any vacancy”, shall be inserted; and after the words “in the location”, the words “suo moto”, shall be inserted.
• In rule 7 of the said rules,-
o in sub rule (3), after the words “through counseling”, the words “as per section 3A” shall be inserted; and
o in sub rule (5), clause (b), shall be omitted.
