The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) on November 20, 2025, issued a circular regarding the display of PvPI QR Code and Toll-Free Number at Retail and Wholesale Pharmacy Stores for Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR).
The following has been stated: -
•All State/UT Drug Licensing Authorities must ensure that every retail and wholesale pharmacy displays the PvPI QR code prominently.
•The PvPI toll-free number (1800-180-3024) must be displayed alongside the QR code.
•This aims to enable easy reporting of Adverse Events/Adverse Drug Reactions through the PvPI ADR Monitoring System.
•Authorities are instructed to disseminate the directive widely and ensure strict compliance to strengthen pharmacovigilance and patient safety.
