The Kerala State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB), on November 14, 2025, notified regarding the Clarification regarding Extension of time period for re-appraisal of the Environmental Clearance (EC) granted by District Environmental Impact Assessment Authority (DEIAA) and corresponding extension of validity of Consent to Operate.
The following amendment has been stated:-
• In the letter issued as per references cited above , on extension of validity of Consent to Operate for Quarries having Environmental Clearance (EC) granted by DEIAA, it was wrongly stated by oversight that ‘As per the above order, MoEF&CC Notification S.O. No. 1807(E) dated 12/04/2022 has been declared invalid by the Hon'ble High Court’ .
• The same may be read asAs per the above order, clause 9 (iv) of MoEF&CC Notification S.O. No. 1807(E) dated 12/04/2022 has been declared invalid by the Hon'ble High Court.
