Under the revised notification, the State formally declares local holidays for: (i) Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Diwas on December 6, 2025 (Saturday), corresponding to 15 Margashirsha, Shaka 1947. These holidays apply specifically to State Government and Semi-Government offices within Mumbai and Mumbai Suburban districts. The circular replaces earlier local holiday declarations issued for these districts in 2025, including the holidays for Vaarli Pournima (August 8, 2025) and Jyeshtha Gauri Visarjan (September 2, 2025).

The notification is issued under the provisions of P&S Circular No. P-13/II/B dated November 5, 1958, and is digitally signed.
