The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on November 21, 2025, issued a notice inviting draft specifications from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)/ suppliers of High End Equipment (HEEs) – LC-H RMS, LCIRMS & EA-IRMS.
The following has been stated: -
•FSSAI is finalizing technical specifications for high-end equipment (LC-HRMS, LC-IRMS & EA-IRMS) and has invited draft specifications from OEMs and suppliers.
•Draft specifications must be submitted in an editable soft copy via email by December 01, 2025.
•A physical presentation on the proposed specifications will be held at FSSAI HQ on December 03, 2025, and only registered firms may participate with a maximum of two representatives.
•If both an OEM and its supplier submit specifications, only the OEM’s submission will be considered, and submission does not guarantee finalization.
