The Government of Goa, on November 20, 2025, issued a notification regarding the authorization of the Secretary (Factories & Boilers) as the Appellate Authority under the Boilers Act, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government, using powers under Section 36(1) of the Boilers Act, 2025, has superseded the earlier 2024 notification. It now designates the Secretary of the Inspectorate of Factories and Boilers as the Appellate Authority under the Act.
This Notification shall come into force on November 20, 2025.
