The National E-Governance Services Ltd. (NeSL), on November 15, 2025, issued a circular regarding the Clarification on the SD calculator for Article 7b for the state of Madhya Pradesh.
The following have been stated:-
• We invite the attention of NeSL DDE users (Registered Banks and NBFCs) to take note of a stamp duty (SD) calculator in respect of article in respect of the following article in the State of Madhya Pradesh under digital stamping.
• NeSL DDE users are advised to select the right article code/stamp duty amount appropriate for the contract type. The responsibility for payment of stamp duty lies with the Bank executing the document. Therefore, NeSL is not responsible for any deficiency in payment of stamp duty, if any, that might arise.
