Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on November 20, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Update on the Block Trading Session.

The following has been stated namely: -

• SEBI has increased the minimum order size for block deal window trades from ₹10 crore to ₹25 crore.

• Permissible order price range is widened from ±1% to ±3% of the reference price, subject to regular market surveillance rules and existing daily price bands.

• If a security’s normal-market price band is less than ±3%, the block deal window must follow the lower applicable band (e.g., 2% band remains 2%; TL series remains at ±1%).

• Revised framework becomes effective December 08, 2025, with mock testing on December 06, 2025.

• Members must load the updated security files (security.gz / nnf_security.gz / NSE_CM_security_ddmmyyyy.csv.gz) before trading, available via the Extranet and the NSE website.
