Finance & Taxation Compliance The Commercial Tax Department, Government of Chhattisgarh on November 19, 2025, notified regarding the tax exemption for Foreign and Indian-made foreign liquor sold through dealers.

The State Government has granted full tax exemption on foreign liquor and Indian-made foreign liquor sold through dealers holding an FL-10 licence. This exemption applies to tax payable under Section 8 of the Chhattisgarh Value Added Tax Act, 2005, and remains effective from April 01, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
