The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MoCA) on November 21, 2025, issued a notification regarding the introduction of Digital Safeguards to prevent misuse of Summons and Notices by SFIO.
The following has been stated: -
•SFIO has introduced new safeguards to prevent misuse or impersonation of its summons and notices by issuing them digitally with QR codes and unique DINs.
•Recipients can verify authenticity instantly either by scanning the QR code or through SFIO’s website.
•These systems ensure citizens receive genuine communications and reduce the risk of fraudulent notices.
•Additionally, SFIO has implemented a multi-layer review mechanism to enhance oversight of summons and notice issuance.
