The Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh, on November 14, 2025, issued a notification regarding the list of holidays for the Calendar Year 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•The Union Territory of Ladakh has released the 2026 list of public holidays for Government Offices and Educational Institutions (Annexure A & B).
•Every employee may additionally choose any two restricted holidays from Annexure C.
•Bank holidays will be governed separately as per the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Annexure D).
