BIS issued the date of establishment and withdrawal for IS Recommendation for Polarity of Earth Connections and Marking of Electrical Equipment for Automobiles, Mating Nucleus Hive for Apis mellifera, etc.

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on November 13, 2025, issued the date of establishment of amendment to certain Indian Standards (IS).

The amendment of the following IS have been established on November 03, 2025 namely: -

• IS 752 : 2023 Textiles — Handloom Cotton Muslin, Bleached — Specification (Second Revision) - Amendment No. 1 November 2025

• IS 5975 : 2020 Raw Sugar — Specification (Second Revision) - Amendment No. 2 November 2025

• IS 8039 : 2023 Textiles — Handloom Cotton Mix Saris — Specification (Second Revision) - Amendment No. 1 November 2025

The aforesaid IS shall be in force without the amendment till May 02, 2026
