Industry Specific Compliance The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on November 14, 2025, issued the notification regarding designating C-DOT for MNV Platform and Tampered IMEI Database Management

The following has been stated namely: -

• The DoT has issued the Telecommunications (Telecom Cyber Security) Amendment Rules, 2025

• DoT has designated C-DOT as the agency to (a) establish the MNV platform under Rule 7A(1), and (b) maintain the database of tampered or restricted IMEIs under Rule 8(6).
