The Government of Karnataka, on November 20, 2025, issued the Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) (Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend the Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1977.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In SCHEDULE II under the heading “ Department of personnel and Administrative Reforms”, the sub-heading “R. Hyderabad-Karnataka Special Cell” and entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
• In schedule XII under the heading “Planning, Programme Monitoring and Statistics Department”, under sub-heading “A”, Serial number 2 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
• After schedule XXVIII, a new schedule shall be inserted, namely, - “SCHEDULE XXIX KALYANA KARNATAKA REGION DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT”.
