Labour Compliance The Chief Labour Commissioner (CLC), on November 10, 2025, notified regarding the FAQs under Payment of Bonus Act, 1965.

The following have been stated:

• Question:- To whom are the provisions of Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 applicable?

• Answer:- The Payment of Bonus Act, 1965, extends to the whole of India and, save as otherwise provided in the Act, it shall apply to (a) every factory and (b) every other establishment in which twenty or more persons are employed on any day during an accounting year. [Section 1].
