The University Grants Commission (UGC), on November 21, 2025, notified regarding the Launch of the Revamped MoSPI Website.
The following have been stated:
• It is informed that the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has recently launched the beta version of its revamped website, offering a seamless, secure, and user-friendly platform for accessing India's official statistics. Featuring intuitive navigation, thematic classification, advanced search tools, and an AI-based multilingual chatbot, a cloud-first architecture, the platform ensures enhanced and easy access to key statistical resources. The new MoSPI website is fully compliant with all relevant guidelines of MeitY.
• All Higher Education Institutions are kindly requested to encourage their students, researchers, and faculty members to make full use of the new MoSPI website (https://mospi.gov.in) for accessing socio-economic statistics and other valuable information to support their analysis and research. Users are also encouraged to share their valuable suggestions and feedback through the Feedback Form available under the "Feedback (User Experience)" section in the homepage menu.
