Labour ComplianceThe Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, on November 24, 2025, issued a notification declaring Tuesday, November 25, 2025, as a Public Holiday in all government offices under GNCTD on account of Guru Teg Bahadur’s Martyrdom Day. This decision has been taken with the approval of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. 

The notification further clarifies that the Restricted Holiday earlier declared for the same date, vide notification No. F.53/816/GAD/CN/2025/4384-4426 dated November 22, 2025, now stands cancelled. The change ensures uniform observance of the significant day across all GNCTD government offices.

This public holiday will apply exclusively to government establishments under GNCTD and is issued to facilitate solemn commemoration of the martyrdom of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji.
