The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) on November 19, 2025, notified regarding the determination of the value of “X” for computation of the deviation (in %) for Wind and Solar (WS) Sellers from 01.04.2026 onwards under the provisions of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) Regulations, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Commission announced that a public hearing will be held on December 03, 2025, at 14:30 hrs regarding the determination of the value of “X” for deviation calculation for Wind and Solar Sellers under the CERC Deviation Settlement Mechanism Regulations, 2024.
• Earlier, public comments were invited, with the submission deadline extended to October 17, 2025, based on stakeholder requests.
• Participation is open to government bodies, utilities, generators, RE developers, power exchanges, financial institutions, and other interested stakeholders through an online video conference.
• Organizations shall register their participants on the SAUDAMINI portal by December 01, 2025, and submit any planned presentation (5–10 minutes, 8–10 slides) in advance to the designated email IDs.
