The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on November 24, 2025, issued an adherence reminder on retail algo trading regulations.
The following has been stated:
Market Participants are advised to review the SEBI circular and Exchange notice 20250930-66, both dated September 30, 2025, regarding the extended timelines for implementing measures to ensure safer participation of retail investors in algorithmic trading.
Trading Members and Algo Vendors must comply with the milestones and regulations outlined in the above-mentioned circulars.
Additionally, Trading Members should refer to Exchange notice 20251014-3 dated October 14, 2025, concerning the submission of details of existing retail algo clients.
Those who have not yet submitted the required client details (as of September 30, 2025) must do so by Friday, December 05, 2025.
