The following has been stated namely: -

• It specifies mandatory timelines for processing fire-related applications under the West Bengal Fire Services Act, 1950. The order lists designated officers, appellate authorities, and reviewing officers for services such as fire safety recommendations, certificates, renewals, temporary structure permissions, fire licences, and fire incident reports. 

• Processing timelines vary between 15 to 60 days, with faster turnaround (15 days) in Kolkata Municipal Corporation areas and extended timelines (30–60 days) for other regions. 

• This aims to ensure accountability, transparency, and timely service delivery for citizens and establishments requiring fire compliance approvals.
