Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Communications (MoC) on November 25, 2025, notified regarding the rescission of the Telecom Cyber Security Amendment Rules, 2025.

It states that the government has withdrawn the previously issued notification no. G.S.R.796(E), dated October 29, 2025, regarding the Telecommunications (Telecom Cyber Security) Amendment Rules, 2025, under the authority of Section 56(2)(v) of the Telecommunications Act, 2023. However, any actions already taken or obligations arising before this rescission will remain valid and unaffected.
