The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying (MoFAH&D) on November 24, 2025, issued notification on Inclusion of Additional Airports and ICDs for Import of Livestock Products.
The Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, number S.O. 2666 (E), dated October 16, 2014 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated October 17, 2014, namely:–
• In the said notification, in the Schedule, in paragraph (4), after the second proviso, the following provisos shall be inserted, namely:-
“Provided also that live-stock products listed at serial numbers (i) to (xxxi) of paragraph 1, shall be allowed to import through Navi Mumbai International Airport, Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra), as per the conditions prescribed for import of such live-stock products in the notification and such import shall be looked after by the Regional Officer or Quarantine Officer at Mumbai:
Provided also that live-stock products listed at serial numbers (xxv) and (xxx) of paragraph 1, shall be allowed to import into India through the sea port or land port, as the case may be, located at Jodhpur ICD (Rajasthan) and Sanand ICD (Gujarat) under the jurisdiction of respective Animal Quarantine and Certification Stations in New Delhi and Mumbai.”.
