The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoC&I) on November 23, 2025, notified the Boiler Operation Engineers Rules, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Boiler Operation Engineer and Chief Inspector.
•Rule 3 specifies the Supervision of the operation of the boiler.
•Rule 4 specifies that a Proficient Person shall possess a certificate and an extent of qualification.
•Rule 5 specifies the Production of Certificate.
They shall come into force on November 23, 2025,
