The Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on November 26, 2025, notified regarding the commencement of Futures Trading in the STEEL REBAR April 2026 contract.
It states that the Steel Rebar April 2026 futures contract will be launched on December 1, 2025, and expire on April 30, 2026, with trading allowed until 5:00 p.m. on the expiry day. The contract specifications and parameters provided in the annexure (enclosed below) are mandatory for all members. Margin requirements will be issued separately by MCXCCL, along with delivery, settlement, and warehousing procedures.
