The Central KYC Records Registry (CKYCRR) on November 20, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Data Hygiene.
The following has been stated: -
•CERSAI reiterates that Reporting Entities must follow the CKYCRR Operating Guidelines and Technical Specifications to ensure high-quality KYC uploads, including correct fields, valid documents, and proper image standards.
•System validations, master data lists, and hygiene checks prevent incorrect or junk values, and non-compliant uploads are rejected automatically.
•Under PML Rule 9, REs are responsible for complete, correct, and periodically updated KYC data.
•REs must use or retrieve the KYC Identifier and fetch records with customer consent, without re-collecting documents unless changes or due diligence needs arise.
