The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on November 28, 2025, notified the Reserve Bank of India (Digital Banking Channels Authorisation) Directions, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•RBI released the final Master Directions on Digital Banking Channels, 2025, after reviewing feedback on the draft issued on July 21, 2025.
•The Directions consolidate and update all existing internet and mobile banking guidelines to support sustainable and innovative digital banking growth.
•Relevant feedback has been incorporated, and the final instructions are now officially issued.
