Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on November 28, 2025, notified regarding the launch of Futures & Options Contracts in December 2025 and the Premium/Discount for grade/delivery location differences.

The following has been stated namely: -

• NCDEX will launch a new batch of futures contracts on 1 December 2025 across multiple commodities (e.g., Bajra, Barley, Castor, Cotton, Jeera, Maize, Turmeric, Steel, etc.), with listed expiry dates.

• Along with futures, options on those futures will be introduced from December 02, 2025.

• The circular defines the premium/discount structure payable for grade differences and delivery-location differences (or both) when delivering under the new contracts — ensuring that variations in quality or warehouse locations are monetarily adjusted as per Annexures.

• For any future contract launches, NCDEX will announce corresponding premium/discount norms before the contract goes live, and quality variation within “acceptable limits” continues to follow individual product notes/circulars.
