NCDEX notified regarding the Event-Based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) Trigger for Coriander and Other Commodities

Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on November 24, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Applicability of Event based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM).

The following has been stated namely: -

• The circular refers to earlier NCDEX surveillance circulars that introduced Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) for selected commodities.

• Based on the High–Low price variation formula ([(High−Low)/Low × 100]), an E-ASM of 2.5% has been triggered for Coriander.

• This E-ASM will apply to all running and yet-to-be-launched Coriander contracts starting November 26, 2025.

• The margin will remain applicable until December 16, 2025.

• The table indicates E-ASM trigger dates across commodities, with Coriander triggered on 24-Nov-2025 and Turmeric applicable till 05-Dec-2025, while other commodities show no trigger (NA).
