The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on November 28, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Consultation Paper on draft circular on the Disclosure of registered name and registration number by SEBI regulated entities and their agents on Social Media Platforms.
The following has been stated namely: -
• A draft circular titled “Disclosure of registered name and registration number by SEBI-regulated entities and their agents on Social Media Platforms” has been released for public comments.
• The draft circular is provided in Annexure A for review.
• This is published as a need is felt to further strengthen the conduct of by persons regulated by the Board and their agents, while uploading/publishing any video/other content on their social media handles on various Social Media Platforms
• Stakeholders are invited to submit their comments/suggestions by November XX, 2025.
• Comments must be submitted through the official SEBI public comments link provided in the notice.
