The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), on November 20, 2025, issued an amendment to Para 2.08 of the Handbook of Procedures.
The following has been stated:
• ANF-1A removed, and all its required details are now included in the new ANF-2A (attached as Annexure-I).
• Para 2.08(c) of HBP 2023 is amended to allow:
o Online validation of IEC application details through integration with records of relevant ministries/departments/banks.
o Applicants must submit only those documents not exempted by the system during online processing.
• Para 2.08(d) updated to state that:
o Guidelines for post-verification of Online IECs will be issued by DGFT HQ from time to time.
