The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) on December 01, 2025, launched MSME TEAM Initiative to Strengthen Digital Commerce Integration.
The Trade Enablement and Marketing (TEAM) Initiative, a sub-scheme under the Central Sector Scheme Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP), has a total outlay of ₹277.35 crore for the period 2024–2027. The initiative aims to strengthen the digital participation of MSMEs in e-commerce by leveraging Digital Public Infrastructure.
Through integration with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), the TEAM Scheme provides MSMEs with government-backed digital storefronts, built-in payment systems, logistics support, and simplified onboarding without the need to create their own e-commerce platforms. The TEAM portal enables digital registration, profiling, and matching of MSMEs with Seller Network Participants (SNPs), along with capacity-building workshops to support sustainable digital growth.
The initiative targets 5 lakh Micro and Small Enterprises, with 50% reserved for women-owned MSEs. This information was shared by the Minister of State for MSME, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha.
