The Department of Finance, Goa, on November 28, 2025, issued a circular regarding the final opportunity for dealers under Section 8A of the Goa GRATIPOS Act, 2023.
The following has been stated: -
•The Goa Government has provided a final chance under the newly inserted Section 8A of the GRATIPOS Act, 2023, for dealers who missed or could not complete the 2023 Settlement Scheme.
•Dealers must pay 100% of tax dues by December 31, 2025, and then file Form IA by March 31, 2026, to seek a waiver of interest, penalty, and post-assessment interest.
•Trade awareness workshops were conducted, and dealers are advised to obtain assessment details and ensure correct challan details, as incorrect payments are non-refundable under Section 8A(10).
•Dealers are urged to avail this opportunity to settle old dues and avoid coercive recovery actions.
