The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) on November 26, 2025, issued a notification extending the Validity of the CAVR Order for J3 Grade Stainless Steel Imports.
The following has been stated: -
•The CBIC has extended the validity of CAVR Order No. 02/2023-Customs for J3 grade stainless steel falling under various HS codes.
•The extension is issued under Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962, and relevant CAVR Rules, 2023.
•The order continues the value-declaration assistance requirements for these identified imported goods.
•The extended validity is for one year, effective from November 29, 2025, to November 28, 2026.
