The Government of Madhya Pradesh, on October 23, 2025, issued a notification regarding Aadhaar-based identification.
The following has been stated: -
•The State Government, under Section 7 of the Aadhaar Act, 2016, mandates Aadhaar authentication or proof of Aadhaar for beneficiaries to receive scheme benefits.
•Beneficiaries without Aadhaar must apply for enrolment, and children require parental or guardian consent.
•Departments must ensure enrolment or updating of Aadhaar through designated centres and may function as Registrars.
•Until Aadhaar is assigned, beneficiaries, especially children, may establish identity using specified valid documents such as birth certificates, passports, school records, or relevant institutional certificates.
This notification shall come into force from October 23, 2025.
