EHS ComplianceThe Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on November 30, 2025, notified regarding the Improvement in Air Quality Scenario of Delhi-NCR.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that for January–November 2025, the average Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi-NCR was 187, the lowest since 2018 (excluding the 2020 COVID lockdown).

• During this period, there were only 3 days with daily AQI over 400 (“Severe to Severe+”), compared to 11–12 such days in recent years — and no day exceeded AQI 450 (“Severe+”) in 2025.

• The average concentrations of PM2.5 and PM10 also dropped: PM2.5 averaged 85 µg/m³ (vs. 98 in 2024) and PM10 averaged 183 µg/m³ (lowest since 2018, barring 2020).

• The release credits the improvements to coordinated efforts by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) together with state governments and other stakeholders, with a commitment to further strengthen pollution-control measures in the coming months.
