Secretarial Compliance The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on December 02, 2025, issued an update on the introduction of Pre-Open Session in Equity Derivatives (F&O) Segment.

The Exchange has issued an update related to the earlier circular on introducing the Pre-Open Session in the Equity Derivatives (F&O) segment, effective December 8, 2025. A new indicator for "Book Type" (value: 8 – Pre-Open / Name: PO) will now be included in the Order Log and Split Order Log files across NEAT and extranet systems to clearly identify pre-open orders.
