Industry Specific ComplianceThe Health Department, Govt. of Haryana on November 27, 2025, issued the Haryana Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome Rules, 2025.

This shall come into force from November 27, 2025.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Rules have been notified to operationalize provisions of the HIV/AIDS (Prevention and Control) Act, ensuring protection of the rights of persons living with HIV. The rules mandate strict confidentiality of HIV-related information and prohibit discrimination in employment, education, healthcare, housing, and public services. 

• Establishments providing healthcare, diagnostics, or treatment shall follow informed consent procedures, safe handling practices, and maintain secure medical records. 

• The rules also prescribe grievance redressal mechanisms, including the appointment of designated officers and complaint procedures. 

• Further, they outline awareness, training, and compliance responsibilities for government and private institutions to ensure a stigma-free and safe environment across the state.
