Industry Specific ComplianceThe Department of Cooperation, Government of Punjab, on December 01, 2025, notified regarding the compulsory registration of instruments.

The following amendment has been stated namely:-

• Any extension, restriction or modification notified by the Government in respect of eligible relations or applicable charges shall automatically apply, mutatis mutandis, to transfers covered under this notification.

• Execution of deeds by authorised representatives:- The authorised representative of the co-operative society, as specified by Registrar, may execute the conveyance deed on behalf of such transferor, 

• For completing the first conveyance in favour of the original allottee; 

• For completing conveyance in favour of the current transferee, where any prior transferor is unavailable, deceased or unwilling, etc., to enable registration under the notification. Valuation for calculation of stamp duty & registration charges.

• For past transfers, the Collector Rate prevailing on the date of registration shall be treated as the notional consideration.
