The India International Exchange (IFSC) Ltd. (India INX) on December 03, 2025, notified regarding the commonly observed violations and indicative penalties.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The circular consolidates financial and procedural violations, assigning penalty slabs based on severity, frequency, and financial impact, with repeat violations attracting higher penalties or disciplinary actions such as suspension, trading terminal disablement, or restrictions on new client onboarding.
• Penalties cover key compliance areas including misuse of client funds, improper settlement, unauthorized trading, KYC lapses, reporting delays, and violations of PMLA requirements.
• The document also includes escalation rules, timelines for audit submissions, and late reporting charges to strengthen governance and accountability across member operations.
• Members are advised to review Annexure-1 and ensure full compliance to avoid penalties..
