The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB), on August 26, 2025, had issued Order restricting all new Consent to Establish (CTE) applications for continuous tyre pyrolysis units exclusively to designated industrial zones, and disallowing any new applications for sites located outside such zones.
Upon examining representations submitted by industrial stakeholders, the Board has now issued a partial modification of the above order. The relaxation applies only to project proponents who had purchased land exceeding 15,000 square metres before this new order, and where (i) the land had already been converted for industrial use, or (ii) an application for industrial conversion had been submitted, before the issuance of this order. Eligible units must file complete CTE applications with required fees and details on or before December 13, 2025, to benefit from this exemption.
All other conditions and requirements prescribed under the earlier Office Orders dated 17.08.2023 and 26.08.2025 remain unchanged and continue to remain in force. The modified directions take effect immediately.
